The 26 Series of capacitive sensors proudly wears Rechner’s HP badge while also having unique physical characteristic in the shape and size of the sensor that allow it to outperform any sensor when it comes to ignoring material buildup. With no moving parts, the 26 Series gets rid of the headaches of other finicky level sensors like: vibrating rods, tuning forks, and paddle wheels which are prone to cavitation, bridging, and seizing with material accumulation. This Series also includes two types of models: 1 model for High dielectric materials (like ketchup and bread batters), and 1 model for everything else (e.g. grains, flours, and alcohol products).
High Performance capacitive sensors feature Rechner’s industry leading Quattro EMC protection against interference voltage, electrostatic discharge, electromagnetic radiation, and transient bursts.
The High Performance line also features superior temperature drift characteristics built into the sensor that keep your machines running accurately on the coldest nights and the hottest days. Additionally, High Performance Sensors are linearly optimized so that they detect a large range of dielectric products at the same distance. This is useful if your product has the potential for variations in materials or in pellet size: like in mixed grains, or mixed plastics. All of these features translate into a much more stable signal for you, the customer.
